The brief for this project was to refurbish and reimagine an existing duplex apartment, elevating it into a refined contemporary home while enhancing both functionality and flow. The client sought a more cohesive spatial arrangement that would better reflect modern living, alongside a carefully considered design language that felt timeless yet distinctive.

Our approach began with a comprehensive review of the existing layout. By reworking the floorplans, we were able to open up the living areas, creating a stronger sense of connection between spaces and improving natural light throughout the apartment. The revised layout promotes ease of movement and a more intuitive relationship between private and communal zones, resulting in a home that feels both generous and well-balanced.

Working closely with the client, we developed a bespoke interior design scheme that aligned with their vision and aspirations for the space. A palette of modern materials, refined finishes, and subtle detailing was introduced to enhance the architectural framework, while carefully integrated design touches add warmth and character.

The completed project is a beautifully resolved modern duplex that maximises its unique riverside setting. Expansive views are celebrated and framed throughout the apartment, creating a strong connection between the interior and its surroundings, and delivering a sophisticated, light-filled home tailored to contemporary living.
